This is a well run and mostly well maintained marina. The staff are usually extremely helpful. And the facilities, showers to restrooms etc are clean and well maintained. It's well served by marine professionals, like brokerage and technical services. The choice of restaurants on site is great.

Stopped at Regatta Point today to fill the diesel tank on our sailboat. The deck hand helped us tie up to the dock and handed me the pump, then left. It would have been helpful if he had stayed as it’s nice to know how much fuel is going into the tank. We had to wait for another deck hand to come out and take the pump. We have never left the boat when fueling as it is not always safe when the dock is moving and can be a jump to get to it. The deck hand normally takes your credit card and runs it, then brings it out for signature. This deck hand said that I needed to come into the store and sign the credit slip. He then just walked away and into the store. I signed the slip and returned and climbed onto the boat. We had to wait for him to come out and untie us from the dock. He reluctantly did it, then walked away. I have refueled many times and have never had such poor service. We normally tip the deck hands but these guys did not deserve it . I will never go back to this Safe Harbor marina for anything.
