Love the marina! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The grounds are kept clean and safe. There’s a small shop with drinks and snacks as well as a restroom. Our family has been enjoying Pirates Cove for years. It’s also a great location for a day on the Gulf of Mexico!

What could have been a positive experience quickly became a major disappointment. No issues with the guys on the dock, but the people who run the office are crooks. We called the office twice in the months leading up to our renewal and were sent to voicemail both times. Both times I requested a return call to find out what was required to not renew the membership. Never got a return call and we were then charged another month after our renewal date. Called again (same number) and someone actually answered. I explained the situation and asked for the most recent charge to be refunded. The woman answering the phone told us to send an email with the cancellation request which we did, but the charge was never reversed. In the year we were with the boat club we had a total of seven rentals, none of which took place in the three months leading up to our renewal date. I have since requested the refund twice and we have not even received the dignity of a response. I know running a business has it challenges, but not returning calls and then charging your clients for unused services is bad business. Proceed with caution.

I store my boat here for high and dry. They have been nothing but absolutely awesome. All of the crew is polite courteous and respectful. They always try to help me out. By the way this is not a fake review. I've had my boat there for about 3 or 4 months and I'm a happy customer.

BUYER BE WARE
Wish there was negative stars. This marina doesn’t deserve any stars. My husband and I bought a used very high end center console boat from Pirates Cove Marina. I dealt directly with Bobby the owner. It was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. Do not take this guys word for anything he says, if his lips are moving he is lying. Get it in writing, and hope for the best, after that you might need an attorney. After the check cashed, his answer to anything we agreed upon was always that I got such a good deal why would I expect him to do anything else that he agreed to do.
If only Godfrey and Hurricane knew how this guy operates. They would think twice about having him represent their good name. Very disappointed in Bobby and this marina.

Great place! I've been a member of the boat club for 5 years now. The staff is always helpful in accommodating to any of my needs. Susan up front is always friendly and answers any questions I might have with a smile. Bobby the owner cares about his business.Every year he update his boats with new boats.. It's always a pleasure to take their boats out.

Beware!!! We have been at Pirates Cove for a year now and currently searching for a new Marina. The customer service isn’t good and pricing here is way to high! They are priced much more than nicer marina’s. Way over priced!!! My suggestion is shop around. Avoid the place! It is too expensive for what you are getting.
Update/FACTS: Pirates Cove was charging us $16.25 a foot. It’s laughable that they considered that a discount. Which came as a surprise because no one told us we were getting a discount. The new price was going to increased to $19.95 per foot. We did moved our boat and are saving over $200 per month for the same storage and service at a different marina. To be clear we never had an issue with dock hands. Some of the guys were really nice. We were happy with the boat we purchased from them. However, after dealing with the manager and owner it’s safe to say they need some training on customer service. When management read my review she told us to take down the review or leave the marina the same week. NOW, I know the law, and could have challenged the eviction but because we were ready to move on we left happily.
